Lift Log is a personal workout tracker. It reads your training program from a spreadsheet and writes the sets, weigh-ins and cardio you log back into it. This policy explains what Lift Log collects and what it does with it.
What we collect
- Your phone number, to log you in with a text-message code.
- Your Google account email and an access token, if you connect Google Drive. The token is stored encrypted.
- Your workout spreadsheet and what you log in it: sets, reps, weights, notes, body weight, step counts and cardio sessions.
How we use it
Only to run the app for you: to log you in, to show your program, and to save what you log to your spreadsheet. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking services.
Google user data
When you connect Google, Lift Log asks for access to Google Drive and Google Sheets. It uses that access only to find your workout spreadsheet, read it, and write your logged entries back to it. It doesn't read, change or share any other files.
Lift Log's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data isn't used for advertising, isn't sold, isn't used to train AI models, and isn't read by people except with your permission, for security, or as required by law.
Who else handles your data
Lift Log runs on these services, which process data only to provide them:
- Heroku hosts the app and its database.
- Amazon Web Services (S3) stores spreadsheets you upload.
- Twilio sends your login codes.
- Google, if you connect Drive.
Keeping and deleting your data
Login sessions last up to 90 days. You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings. That deletes the stored token and revokes Lift Log's access. You can also revoke access from your Google account. To delete everything else, email us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
